The world's pull is a strong force against the saints but God is stronger. The Bible says Resist the devil and he will flee. This is not a judgment just an observation. I was surprised by some of the artists who appeared on the show, who blurred the lines between God and the world. I know it is hard to walk the straight and narrow. It must be even harder doing it in the music industry. I pray that God strengthens all these artists, fortifies those holding on to their faith, and leads those back, who' may have lost their way. Amen.

I'm sorry, Kim Burrell is good at her craft. But she's not by far, the G.O.A.T. IF y'all would take note, that she only began getting certain recognition and notarieity, after she gave a public apology about her statement she made about the LGBTQ community. And now, I guess she has become accepted. The bible says, what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? It means nothing. There's only one gospel artist that I know, who has earned the right to be called, the G.O.A.T., and that is Lady Tramaine Hawkins. That lady carried a heavy anointing. She not only had the voice but she carried (possessed) the presence of almighty God. There will never be another like her. She didn't have to do all of those rifts and runs to excite your spirit. She just stood flat-footed and SANG. And when she finished, you knew you had been in the presence of the Lord. I'm not downing anyone's gift. But we need to be careful when we put labels on these artists. If you noticed, as each honoree had their music performed, many were trying to sound like them. That's a no no. Nobody can sing their song like they can. But TGBTG. WE'RE in the 21st century, still trying to get it right. JESUS help us all.

Events like this are by far for entertainment ONLY. So much competition...........one trying to out sing the other. If it's WORSHIP, true Worship, when the anointing comes, there's a difference in the atmosphere. Awards like this, are all too common and many times they lose sight of the ministry mission. I dare say, why this AWARDS SHOW was birthed. The husband and wife said it was his dream, that's commendable. But for what purpose? We usually equate "our" dreams to that of obtaining wealth. But the Bible says, beloved, I wish ABOVE all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. This scripture speaks volumes as pertaining to wealth and prosperity. But it seems that the church world at large still hasn't got it. And that my brother and sister is the SAD part. You don't run after your dreams, your dreams run after you. We have to dig real deep and ask, what is the purpose of your dream. Your purpose should be whatever God's will is. Anything aside from that, you're fulfilling your desire, not necessarily your purpose. The bible also says, delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. That scripture is contingent upon condition. In other words, if you delight, then he shall give. No if, and or butts about it. So all in all, if what you're doing is not in alignment with the work of the kingdom, it may be good, but it will not be profitable. Bc it doesn't seek to bring people to God, it's only for show and fame. There's so much more I could say, but I'm not on here to give a short sermon. I will say this, most of the churches in America have LOST their first love. There's no love, no power, no anointing, no reverence for God, no discipline, no deliverance, no respect, they're just going thru the motions. Another Sunday, we come together, to jump and shout, dance and some may fall out..............certainly not under the power of God, just emotion or the pastor laid hands on me, so I'm supposed to fall out in the floor. BUT NOTHING CHANGES. I wonder if each church would do a survey/follow-up and ask people who have fell out in the floor, what happened or how did they feel when they got up, they would be surprised of the response. IJS!!!
